Jadi hari in aku mulai les Akting sama guru guru terkenal di dunia akting, Selamat Roharjo, Dewi Martinez dan Alex Komang. Aku agak nervous ngikutin les ama Legends kayak mereka.
Sebernarnya, aku pernah kerja sama Alex di photoshoot 1939, dan menerut ku dia orang sangat baik dan “down to earth,” 
aku senang bisa belajar ama dia. So wish me luck guys! Peace!

Kemaren aku mulai kerja lagi. Aku bikin promotretan buat the Time Place dan Hamilton watches. Love Hamilton watches, so nice, dan aku pengen beli semuanya, masalahnya watches Hamilton itu lumayan mahal juga. Aku senang banget, Time Place milih aku untuk jadi Icon buat Hamilton. Will Smith juga adalah icon buat mereka, dalam film “I am Legend” kalau belum nonton, nonton dong, keren. Will Smith adalah aktor yang aku sangat kagumi karena dia orang prinsip, yang jago banget akting, keren, dan juga setia dengan keluarganya dia… RESPECT.
Aku juga masuk nominasi iklan Nivea di Thailand. Mereka minta snapshot Mike yang sekarang, jadi aku minta tolong dengen photgraphernya, Nurulita (orang sangat baik), tuk bikin. I’ll show you a couple… PEACE!!!

So I’m gonna try my best to write this all in Indonesian. Tell me how I do…
Ok, aku kemaren sudah bilang kalo aku baru ke Bali kan. Sekarang aku mau ceritain bagaimana liburanku disana. Menurut ku, Bali adalah pulau terindah di dunia (at least top 5). Di Bali, orangnya semua cuek dan ngak ja-im. Kalo tempat begitu aku suka. Aku nyampe di Bali dan langsung mau ketemuan sama team rugby aku. Team rugby aku semua nginep di Legian. Legian adalah pantai di Bali yang sanget keren dan happening. orang2nya cuek dan trendy. Team aku langsung latihan lempar dan tangkap bola di pantai. Asik dong, main di pantai ama temen temen ku. Hari berikutnya, team aku mulai tanding jam 8:50am – PAGI Banget! Terlalu pagi buat main rugby. Kami main lawan team namanya “Bush Turkeys” aneh yah namanya. Walaupun mereka punya namanya yang aneh mereka main lumayan jago – jadi kita seri. Berikut adalah 2 pertandingan kami kalah 1 (University Western Australia) dan kami menang yang lainnya (Curtin University-Aus).
Dan aku sudah kasih tau kan tentang kecelakaan kecil yang aku alami. My hurt shoulder. hehehe. Sudah lumayan sembuh lho.

Ok, so I was playing rugby over the weekend in Bali, as you know. My team, the Komodos, made it to the Bowl Final. I think it’s safe to say that I was not playing my best rugby ever. But in the Final I was pumped, I was ready to go out and take on the world. Nah! Masalahnya team kami lagi main lawang team jago banget dari Australi. Mereka GEDE amat kok. So it actually hurts to even write this to you. No pictures yet, will post them soon. Peace!
Hello Indonesia,
As some of you know I am a rugby player and every year about this time I attend the biggest rugby tournament in Indonesia called the Bali Rugby 10’s. I will be going with my club team the ISCI Komodos (International Sports Center Indonesia), a jakarta based club full of expats from all over the world – and some locals too. We are going to compete against teams from all over, like Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Japan, and the Philippines. It’s going to be tough. That’s why I love it! But I promise you I will do my best to represent Jakarta (my club base) and Indonesia. I don’t know if any of you know this, but at this same time 7 years ago my teammates fell victim to the Bali bombings. 6 of my teammates were killed at Sari Club after the same tournament I’m going to now. So our team goes every year since in their honor. I was supposed to be with them that day, but I stayed in Jakarta to do a fashion show at the time. (Yes fashion saved my life, weird)
So wish me luck this weekend, as I go up against some pretty big athletes. I’ll show you pictures from last years tournament. Peace.

First of all, I would like to send my prayers out to all the people effected by the Sumatra earthquake. All of my friends from overseas text, FB, or email me whenever something happens in Indonesia, not realizing that Sumatra is a huge island away form here. But my point is that it’s really sad that every month there seems to be something bad happening in this beautiful country. It’s so upsetting. And I really wish more was done for all the families out there in places like Padang.
I was doing a little to help at a ‘telethon’ for ANTV. They had me answering phone calls and talking to people who wanted to donate money. I was there with friends like Fauzi, Wulan, Ayu, and Kenes. Needless to say, people found it awkward when they heard my bule voice. A lot of people hung up on me actually, kind of sad. But as I said on TV, I was very happy to witness Indonesian people giving up their hard earned money for the people that need it in Sumatra. Whether it be 5ooo or 5 million rp every little bit helps, and it’s not the amount that was important it was the desire to help and the heart that they showed. Today I’ve decided that I’m gonna write solely in english. I’m trying this out because as anyone can see I write much better in my mother tongue of english. I hope this will be more interesting to you as I know that my bahasa is limited and consequently the content of my blog.
As I mentioned before, I love Jakarta during Lebaran. The city feels less claustrophobic, gone is the traffic and with it feelings of suffocation. It’s as if the city finally has some room to breathe. In turn, so do the people that remain within it’s relieved embrace. I think I saw stars last night. It’s also a great time for people to do things for themselves, something that has escaped me since I left Canada. Some of us are fortunate enough here to have people assist us in our day-to-day routines. But they lose the pleasure of doing those chores for themselves. For example, I washed my own car, mopped the floor, watered the garden, washed my dogs, and did my own laundry. It’s actually a very liberating feeling when you do everything yourself. For those of you who do this all the time, I salute you. For those who do not, I suggest you try. It can also offer a perspective of the people who work so hard for the fortunate.
It is also a time to apologize and ask for forgiveness to those that we’ve offended. I’ve been reflecting on that notion over the past couple of days. See lebaran is not unlike Thanksgiving. There is one essential difference though; that being that Thanksgiving has more positive connotations. It is a holiday where we give thanks for everything in our lives and we realize how truly blessed we are to have whatever small or random thing that we hold dear. Lebaran, is similar and although I am not an expert on the matter. The idea of asking for forgiveness of everyone we have offended with or without knowing is beautiful, and the fact that forgiveness is usually granted. SO in the spirit of Lebaran I would like to ask for forgiveness of anyone whom I have wronged in my past. And I will also in turn grant forgiveness to those who have wronged me. (You know who you are! Hehehhe I joke!)

It’s a day of celebration, love that! I wish all the happiness in the world to everyone in Indonesia. Aku sedang di Jakarta dan aku suka banget Jakarta kalo lagi Hari Raya – SEPIH dan Enak Banget kalo jalan jalan. Hari ini aku akan keliling Jakarta buat ketemu keluarga keluarga yang dekat sama aku. Thank God there is no traffic!
Ada sesuatu lagi yang kita harus CELEBRATE. TAdi pagi aku nonton acara boxing di TV langsung dari Las Vegas. My boy, Chris John, absolutely dominated Rocky Juarez.Percaya ngak, Chris John menang di Las Vegas lawang orang amrik yang jago banget! Aku sedang Bangga banget ama Chris dan negara Indonesia juga. Ini bener bener Hari Raya guys!

Hello Indonesia! Aku sudah ada di sini!!! Baru nyampe tadi malam seteleh flight 23 jam. Waddduuuhhh, HORROR tuh! Akhirnya aku sampe rumah, waktu di Canada ku capek banget nyinep di rumah temen dan hotel terus, jadi kangen kasur ku. Sekarang bisa tidur enak, hehe.

So aku sedang di Toronto. Toronto is my 3rd favorite city in Canada, selain Vancouver, dan Montreal. Aku kesini buat ketemu banyak temen ku yang aku bertemu di Universitas McGill.
